The Stage 32 Videos: Animated Series

This is the concept trailer for Mummy’s Backyard Adventures, a magical animated children’s series created by ANGEL STEVE. The characters are inspired by my real family and brought to life through animation. The series follows Mummy, Daddy and their children, Lexi, Steven Jr., Dee Dee and Bobby, as their ordinary backyard becomes the beginning of extraordinary adventures. In every story, the family discovers something new, meets magical characters and works together to solve problems. The series combines imagination, gentle comedy, excitement and emotional warmth while teaching young children about courage, kindness, teamwork, curiosity and the importance of family. Mummy’s Backyard Adventures has been developed as an 18-book picture-book series for children aged three to six. This trailer shows the beginning of my wider vision: transforming the books into a premium, streaming-quality animated series that families can watch and enjoy together. I am sharing this project on Stage 32 because I am looking to connect with animation producers, children’s screenwriters, showrunners, directors, storyboard artists, voice professionals and production companies who could help develop the concept into a professional series. The project now needs an experienced creative team to help produce a series bible, pilot screenplay, episode structure, production budget and industry-ready pitch for broadcasters and major streaming platforms. Introducing Bobby’s Cosmic Adventures, a magical children’s universe created by ANGEL STEVE. Bobby is not simply a fictional character. He is the animated version of my real son, brought to life as a brave, funny and kind-hearted young explorer. Inspired by Bobby’s personality and imagination, the stories follow him across extraordinary planets, rainbow galaxies and mysterious cosmic worlds, where he learns about courage, friendship, family and helping others. This cartoon trailer offers a first glimpse into the larger world I have created through Bobby’s books. My goal is to develop Bobby’s Cosmic Adventures into a complete animated series that children and families can enjoy together. Looking for the right funding group for a next gen streaming series

In Western New York, an anthropomorphic brain and his group of other organ-related friends don’t exactly live a “PC culture” type of lifestyle.

Consider this work: A grown up cartoon series that is endearingly retro, yet surprisingly modern, featuring a heroine who faces uncertainty and crisis with resiliency and fortitude… this is If I Had a Dime. One of the scripted versions disseminates the story in very short scripts, but I need animation. What I can offer: A visionary director who is also a joyful collaborator and the opportunity to work on a project filled with heart and hope, a tale about saving ourselves at a time when it feels like we are in the early part of an avengers movie, only in our case the avengers may not come. The challenge: Just try and find a more upbeat and lovable character than 1970s groovy actress Miranda Davis. Go ahead. Try.
